Father’s Day Luau at Brookdale
Had a wonderful time at Brookdale this afternoon to celebrate Father’s day. The theme was a luau, and my song list was a mix of Hawaiian, Raggae, and Father’s day songs.
My two hour set included Hawaian hits like: Tiny Bubbles, The Hukilau Song, Lovely Hula Hands, Waikiki, and Hawaii Aloho (sung in the Hawaiian language). I also mixed in some Red Red Wine, Baby I Love Your Way, and How Sweet it is. Specific to Fathers included Butterfly Fly Away, a Miley Cyrus song, that I never knew I needed to know. I also sang Daddy’s Hands, The Best Day and the Lee Greenwood version of The Wind Beneath My Wings.
Don’t Worry Be Happy was an especially fun number. It was a great luau too!
Thanks to Sue Kelch for stopping by to take some photos.
