Whitmore Lake Farmers Market

Sunday morning at the Whitmore Lake Farmers Market is a great way to spend any Sunday morning. Today, I had the pleasure to perform here.

With the lake in the background it’s certainly a pretty spot. The muggy day didn’t deter people from enjoying the market, or stopping by to sit and listen for a bit. A friend of mine also stopped by to hear me sing for the first time, which was really special.

My set was a bit of end of summer splash and included covers: The Winner Take it All, Keeper of the Stars, She’s Always a Women, I want to Know What Love is, Landslide, and Just to See You Smile.

On a fun note, when I was playing Brent Morgan’s Everything’s Gonna be Okay, a young boy walked up to me while I was playing. Kids do that naturally and I consider that a compliment. He was eating a cookie and right before the chorus he dropped it, and had a complete meltdown. Mom came and scooped him up, and I never skipped a beat flowing right into the chorus. Yup, a real pro. LOL. I think they got him a new cookie.

I also made a connection for a potential future performance.
