Brookdale Ann Arbor, August Summer’s End

An End of August performance was a great way to round out the month and summer.

I performed for the residents, who really appreciate live music. I feel really fortunate to play here regularly.

My set included Starry Starry Night, Country Roads, and Yellow. I also have new tech to record with and enjoyed the acoustics from the lobby using it.

On a high note, someone gasped at the end of Yellow. They connected with the song emotionally, which is my ultimate goal of any performance, and a compliment rolled in one.

I’m so grateful to be able to play and sing in public. Music has been such a gift in my life. It helps me connect emotionally, and at times in my life has been instrumental in healing.
